School starts today, and here I am still awake taking in the last of the holiday mood. I can barely stand to think about the whole awesome line-up of tests and assignments due in the month of January, especially so when I've barely started on any.

Extremely pleased with our (pretty)spontaneous KL escapade, where we basically shopped a whole lot, ate a whole lot (think A&W, Krispy Kremes!) and did nothing else. Armfuls of 25RM shopping conquests (crazily cheap?), impulsive buys and what nots. Our plan initially was to escape from spending yet another lacklustre Christmas in Singapore, but we were back late at night on the 24th and spent the first few hours of Christmas at Holland over Erdingers. Christmas in Singapore is becoming overly commercialized, empty and boring, while the expensive gifts galore increases, the whole heartwarming feel about the holidays we felt when we were younger dwindles.

Off to make a collection of Christmas movies, my favourites have got to be Love Actually and Fred Claus. They shall be put to use next year, really gets you into the Christmas mood!
